Akira Morinozuka is Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka and Satoshi Morinozuka's father.
Akira is very close with Yorihisa Haninozuka, Honey's father. They are the same age, like all shown "pairs" of Morinozuka and Haninozuka men. It's implied that their relationship is similar to Mori and Honey's, and Satoshi and Chika's, as he says it is in his family's blood to be loyal to the Haninozuka family. He and Yorihisa often settle their own arguments with food. He loves his sons and nephews, but he thinks Honey's antics get Mori into a lot of unnecessary trouble.
