Doctor Yabu is seen in the episode "Beware the Physical exam" looking for his daughter. He has a wife and one daughter who attends Ouran Public High School. He mistakenly believes that his daughter attends the Host Club's school. When he tries to ask a female student if she has seen his daughter, she becomes upset and tells a crowd gathering around her that 'He was trying to make a pass' at her. He is seen in the manga and the live action with the same plotline.
