Shiro Takaoji
(鷹凰子嗣郎, Takaoji Shirō?) is the subject of help for the Host Club in episode 6 of the anime. He is in love with a girl in his grade who is moving away to Germany, and asks Tamaki Suoh to be taught how to make women happy. In his music class, he is supposed to play a duet with the girl he likes, but prefers to just hear her play.
Tamaki teaches him the song so they can play together, and the young lovebirds end up corresponding through mail. In the manga, he's later "loaned" to Kasanoda in the attempt to make him "cuter". He made a cameo appearance in episode 13 as a mouse. In the anime, at the end of episode 6, Shiro's pose is a nod to his seiyū's more famous role as the titular character in Naruto.
He appears in the latest chapters, complaining that Tamaki never took him to an amusement park yet.

Appearance
In the anime Shiro has light brown hair and brownish eyes. He wears the traditional Ouran Elementary School outfit. Green jacket and shorts, white undershirt, and a black bow tie. He can be stubborn at times if you really pay attention to him. He looks about ten years old. In the manga if you put him next to Mitsukuni Haninozuka they look a lot alike. Shiro also recognizably shares a slight resemblance to Kid Trunks from the familiar classic Dragon Ball Z.
Trivia
- When Shiro joined the Host Club, he was labeled and trained by Renge Houshakuji to be the "naughty type."
